Vancouver Island Wildlife
From the summits of mountain ranges to the valley bottoms, estuaries and on the shoreline, the unique ecosystems on Vancouver Island are comprised of a variety of species such as black bear, grizzly bears, Roosevelt elk or wapiti, black-tailed deer, American mink, sea otter, river otter, Steller sea lion, red squirrel, seal, red-legged frog, Western toad, bald eagle and many other bird species.
All these photographs were taken in nature in an ethical manner: these wild animals were not called, baited, trapped, or disturbed in their routine.
